Still the best console font…

… is Terminus. Others may look better, fancier, whatever… but after 10 hours of console/programming work your eyes will thank you for Terminus. Even at small font sizes it is absolutely readable and won’t put much strain on your eyes.

    From my point of view Monospace looks smoother, better … even after 16 hours with 8 terminal windows … 😉

      Well, thing is… Monospace is (usually) just an alias for a specific font. 🙂

    After trying a lot of fonts for terminal in 4,5 years I agree: Terminal is still the best.

    Fonts I tried and I really like (in order):

    » proggy clean
    » Envy Code R
    » gohu
    » screen
